Report Card Day, GULPS!

My son received 6 As and 3Bs on his report card. He made the Honor Roll for every semester including this last semester. I said WHAT? HUH? Who's report card is this? Well I guess all that work we did for the past three weeks was definitely worth it!!!!! My kid is so funny. Two of his teachers said to him in the hall did you get your mom a present? He looked at them and said ummm no, and they said you should for all the work she has done on your projects. He said and I quote "Yeah I know but she really loves getting A's so she is happy"

HAPPY SUMMER VACATION

Getting A's in Grade school would probably be hard for me. Except in sex ed.

I'm sure he would have done all that even if you didn't help him ...

NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrific job in helping him along, Cherish. I hope he learned a lot more than schoolwork from this experience -- like what a great Mom he has.

Congrats--to both of you! All A's and B's. That's great. I bet your son was all glow-y inside.

Now he's realized what a little hard work will get him. I remembered when I realized that. (hmm, when I study, I pass. Genius!) heh

Ben: Chuckles! You are so bad!! Well my son has loved the girls since three year old preschool.

Tim: Thank you but I think I am sucky mother if I would have been a good mom I would have known he was not doing so well much earlier than I did.

Gary: Hehe GRINZ He is a hoot to say the least!

Jim: Agrees totally!!! I told his one teacher he did all the research I just helped him organize his thoughts.

Stringman: You know what?? He really did learn a lesson. This was a life changing year for him. I am just hoping he does not forget it by the time school starts again.

Mr. Fabulous: I am really proud of him!!

Gunngirl: He really did learn that lesson and I hope it stays with him!!! Thank you for your kind words!!

Congrats to your son. As a teacher, I'm always happy when one of my students receives an "A." As a parent, I'm even prouder, knowing how difficult it can be to achieve that level.

Way to go, Mom. :)
