101 Things About Me

  1. I am married (18 years)with 2 great kids (12 and 14)

  3. I have the greatest mom in the entire world
  4. I have one brother who is 3.5 years older than me and I think he is fabulous! I almost lost my brother in a near fatal car accident when he was 16, I do not think I could have continued life without him. This accident completely changed my brother, he had a severe life threatening head injury. I lost my brother that day but I received the best brother in the entire world when he finally came back to us. He was different but he was much happier and much more settled.
  5. My entire family have the same eyes. It must be a dominant gene in our family; grandfather, my mom and Uncle, my cousins (Uncle's children), my brother and his children, myself and my children. You can tell everyone who is not directly linked to our family (e.g. my dad, sister in law, my husband) because their eyes are different.
  6. I was the only girl born to our family in 29 years on my mother's side of the family, my daughter is the only girl born in 24 years and still standing. She complains about all the boys and I tell her I know her pain. I explain to her in 53 years her and I were the only girls ever born into our family.
  7. On my dad's side I have 47 cousins, 41 boy cousins and 6 girl cousins, I am second to the youngest. Can you all feel my pain? hehe

  21. I will listen to my favorite song over and over again nonstop, driving my family nuts.
  22. I will watch my favorite movie over and over again, this also seems to bother the family.

  24. I am a submissive but a very dominant woman
  25. I have obsessive compulsive personality, that is much more apparent when I am stressed or upset.

  32. I have the patience of a fruit fly.
  33. Mentally challenged people love me. No matter where I am be it at a restaurant or in the store if there is a person that is mentally challenged they will approach me and talk to me. I have been like this since I started school, the special kids were always attracted to me.
  34. I love this because they are some of the most interesting, geniune, loving and kind people on this earth.

  53. My husband always says what does not feel good when I put my forehead on him.
  54. I love music videos and it can make or a break a song for me.
  55. I do not like to read because my 2nd grade teacher would tape my mouth shut during silent reading because my lips moved. I believe that changed the roadmap of the person I was suppose to be.
  56. I am currently trying to put that nightmare behind me by finding stuff to read that really catches my attention. I have a great belief that when traumatic things happen it changes who we were ultimately meant to be.
  57. I rarely take off from work. I have to be half dead to stay home.
  58. I do not like anyone to know it is my birthday because it embarrasses me when they say happy birthday or buy me presents
  59. I am very polite. I always say thank you, please and have a great day to strangers, I am even more polite to my friends and loved ones. I believe charity and politeness should start at the home.
  60. I never realized how wonderful family rituals were until they were gone. With the death of my grandfather I have seen many of our family rituals die with him.

  69. I hate public restrooms.
  70. I always carry antibacterial wipes and antibacterial lotion.

  83. At 2 years old I split the back of my head open from top to bottom. Again I was throwing a tempertantrum, my mom was trying to show me how to brush my teeth and I did not like it so I threw myself back hitting the corner of the wall. I still have a scar on the back of my head.
  84. When I was 2.5 years old I went to throw myself backwards in yet another tempertantrum and my father picked me up, beat the crap out of me and I never threw another tempertantrum again.

  89. I love the water.
  90. I live on an Island and I do not think I could live away from the water.
  91. If I were to win the lottery my ultimate dream would be to buy a huge piece of property on the Island, right on the water and build three wonderful homes. One for my family, one for my mother and one for my brother's family. That would be heaven on earth.
  92. I hate to watch the news on television, but I read the news on the computer.
  93. I love to hear my children talk to each other, when they are having a conversation I feel I did something right.

  95. I prefer sunsets to sunrises.

  99. I did gymnastics from age 2 until age 11 and I was very good (at least my mom said I was, hehe actually I was on a gymnastic's team). My gymnastics career ended when I was in 6th grade because of severe tendonitis. I had to stop gymnastics completely, and I believe that is something else that changed the roadmap of who I was suppose to be.
  100. I believe in fate but I do not believe in leaving all in the hands of fate because she is very busy.
  101. I prefer to live my life as if there is a God and die to find there is not, then to live my life as if there is no God and die to find there is. (this is not verbatim but I received it in an email long ago) WOWWWWWWWW looks at bloody fingertips and goes to take a nap!!! If you decide to take on this task I would love to see my friend's answers.

Cherish, I'm not sure that I would have 101 things to write about myself. Maybe I should try it one day. Although, I enjoyed reading yours. Stop by sometime.

Laughing So Hard

I wondered if someone would ask me about the list My favorite Brunette.

I always wash in this order:
1. Dark No Dry w/Liquid Tide, one stain removal cube and I always use the Green Downy.(I have no reason)
2. Light No Dry w/Powder Tide w/bleach,stain removal cube, oxywash, and Downy(I like to get all the no dry clothes done and hung up first so they start drying)
3. Dark Dry Clothes (same as no dry but I use Bounce Original Sheets (7))(I do dark dry clothes first because they take longer to dry)
4. Light Dry Clothes (same as no dry but again with bounce dryer sheets (5))(Not sure why either)
5. Then I take out the light dry clothes and start my husband's work clothes (which soak for 45 minutes, then a prewash, then a regular wash, then two rinse cycles)(Psstt he gets compliments on how good his clothes smell and how clean they are, hehe) I use liguid tide,3 stain cubes and downey in both rinses.
Then finally I finish up with my towels. Powder Tide with/bleach, liquid bleach and no downy (I finish with towels because they are a big load and I figure if there is any dirt from the work clothes the towels will wipe up.) I never use dryer sheets or downey on my towel or they become less absorbant.

I am laughing so hard as I type this out. Yes I am this whackey. It drives my mom nuts. One time my machine broke and she had to do my clothes. I had bags with tags on them what detergent, downey and dryer sheet to use. She just asked me what planet I am from. If I run out of stain cubes, oxywash, detergent or downey my laundry ritual comes to a dead holt because I can not move forward. This takes me the better part of the day to accomplish.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I look forward to checking out your list.

Wow, Cherish! I am so impressed with you - your willingness to look at who you REALLY are, your insight, your tenacity and your determination. I also feel like it is almost eerie how much we have in common. No, I am not your twin etc... I am going to be 45 this month. But... we could be sibs. You never know... *wink, wink* I'm going to take your challenge and try to make a list like yours.
