I wonder if his epitaph will be "Sorry about that Chief".
He was great, I loved that show

Get Smart was written by Mel Brooks and Buck Henry. You probably knew that. It was my Dad's favorite show too. I often think of my Dad when I think of that show (which is more often than you may think) He used to tape it on our old reel to reel tape recorder...

Me too Phil!! It was hysterical. I did not know who the writers were on the show. That is a great memory of your dad!!

It was such simple fun like Gilligan, Bewitched, I love Lucy ect... I sometimes think that is what is missing with our kids. They are either watching crappy cartoons or sitcoms that have bed hopping.

Oh well I guess once things move forward there is not much we can do but I sure did love the reruns of Get Smart.

It's so great to see others talking about Don Adams! When I blogged about him this morning I was afraid I'd be the only one!

"Chief, I think we need to use the cone of silence..."
Adam;-)

Grinz to Adam oh no I think lots of people watched and loved Get Smart. Of course the kids loved Inspector Gadget when they were little.

He will be missed but his reruns will live on...
